About us

Verdugo Hospice Care Center delivers a program of health care designed to give comfort and support for patients – and their families – when facing terminal illnesses. We provide personalized care in the patient’s own environment, be it their home, nursing home, board and care, or assisted living facility.

Verdugo Hospice Care Center mission is to provide the terminally ill patient and their loved ones with the support and care they require to live their lives comfortably. Our Hospice team strives to enable the patient and family to maintain dignity and quality of life.

Our goal is to achieve physical, emotional and spiritual comfort. We strive to empower the patient and the family by providing them with the tools, information, and support they need to make informed decisions. We provide ongoing support for family and friends for as long as needed.

We believe that Hospice care should be available to any and all persons with an illness for which there is no cure or for persons who elect not to attempt a cure, resulting in limited life expectancy.

When Caring Matters Most

Happy clients talk about us

Matt F.

Now it is time for me to express my feelings and experience with Hospice for the last four months. I want to thank you all for a wonderful job you have done with us. It takes a special person to fulfill such a position. I want to thank Verdugo Hospice for your dedication, hard work, and compassion at such an emotional and sensitive time in one’s life.

Arlene D.

Dear Verdugo Hospice Staff, Thank you for taking such good care of my cousin. We know that you did all you could to keep her comfortable during this unfortunate time. We really appreciate it.

Jacqueline W.

We all want to thank you for your loving and spiritual presence during the months of my Mom. Your visits meant so much to my Dad and my Mom’s caregiver.

George H.

We want to thank you for helping to care for our mom. We are so grateful that she could live her final days in her own home, without tubes, IV’s, and in an institutional setting surrounding her. Verdugo Hospice team made that possible, and my Dad felt much supported.

Nancy K.

“This is my second experience with Verdugo Hospice care center. Six years ago my father using another service and now with my mother we are using Verdugo hospice. Your service is outstanding. The two nurses and the aid that provide care for my mom were compassionate caregivers to both my mom and me.”

Kristi H.

The work you all do is truly amazing, and we will be forever grateful that Hospice made it possible for Mom to spend her final days in her own home. Thank you for everything.
